when building this gun ,,, i wasted quite some time on search referncing imgaes .... if you could find some good reference on the pistol, in particular, like on the component refernce... that would certainly be fantastic Very Happy

Yea I'll find some and send them to you. Don't know if anyone can answer this, but to animate this gun like the postion the Player holds it and the smoke when it fires, does turbojoys here have to do that before we send it into Oblivion or can you do that some where else?

well ... in a production pipeline environment... for this kind of gun, some of the secondary animation, like trigger pulled and the matchlock move, can be pre-made ... but gun position and particle system hav 2 be dealt with within the game engine

I have just been informed over on the Betheda Forums that the animation for the Blunderbuss Mod that a few of us tried out is actually a Staff animation, I thought we could use that then for this as it looked very natural the way you held it etc, now its just turning it into a weapon in Oblivion

Say the original maker of the Blunderbuss Mod has just mailed me over on TESNexus forums as I messaged him asking about it, and he said that it was the Staff animation and it was really easy to implement, so what do people think of using it as it would save alot of time.

Some more amazing work Very Happy I should have the guns exported into Oblivion soon, but I'm having some trouble exporting as .nifs.

also ... if you later find the need to add reflection to the metal part in the cs... just ask me for the map Wink
